UHRATE
UHRATE is a decentralized authenticity network that combines artificial intelligence and blockchain technology to verify, register, and certify the authenticity of digital content.
Founded in 2025, the platform describes itself as a "decentralized notary for the digital world" that assigns any file — document, image, video, or audio — a permanent, immutable blockchain identity intended to prove its existence, ownership, and authenticity.[1][2] Its primary deployment is on BNB Smart Chain (BEP20), and it operates through a web interface at uhrate.xyz and uhrate.online that serves both Web2 and Web3 users.[1]
The project is governed under the name "Uhrate DAO" and issues a dual utility and governance token, UHR, with a fixed total supply of one billion tokens.[3][4] Its stated vision is "to become the global standard for digital authenticity — a borderless, permissionless infrastructure where every piece of digital content can be verifIed, every document can be trusted, and every creator can prove the integrity of their work."[1]
Overview
UHRATE frames its purpose around what it calls "the era of verify first," arguing that deepfakes, voice clones, synthetic documents, and AI-generated imagery have made digital media increasingly difficult to trust.[3] The company positions the platform as a "decentralized notary layer for the digital world — a network where files can receive permanent, immutable proof of existence."[3] In its marketing the project cites what it describes as a "$50B+ document verification market with zero dominant Web3 player."[2]
The platform's self-reported design gives every verified file a permanent on-chain record together with an NFT certificate that the project states is independently auditable "by anyone without requiring permission from UHRATE."[1]
UHRATE states that it targets specific professional groups, offering journalists and media the ability to timestamp original footage on-chain before publishing, universities the ability to issue tamper-proof blockchain degree certificates, creators the ability to prove authorship of their work, law firms the ability to hash contracts so that alterations create detectable mismatches, and banks the ability to require blockchain identity on submitted documents to prevent forgery.[2] For universities it contrasts its service with a claim that fake degrees are sold online for $200.[2]
Platform Modules
The whitepaper describes a multi-vertical product built from a set of connected modules, all self-reported by the project.[1]
Its central offering is AI File Verification, in which a user uploads a file and receives an analysis powered by Anthropic's Claude AI that produces five confidence scores — an Originality Score, AI Probability, Deepfake Risk, Manipulation Score, and Trust Score — each accompanied by a plain-language summary.[1]
On the public website this appears as an Authenticity Check tool that returns a trust score from 0 to 100 and a report indicating whether a file is original, AI-generated, deepfaked, or manipulated; the tool accepts images, videos, audio, PDFs, and documents up to a maximum size of 50 MB and is offered free with no account required.[2]
Once analyzed, each file is assigned what the project calls Digital DNA — a set of cryptographic fingerprints comprising a SHA-256 hash, a SHA-512 hash, and a perceptual hash — intended to serve as a permanent identity.[1]
The Document Registry records a file's SHA-256 hash on-chain through MetaMask with metadata stored on IPFS, and specialized registries extend this to particular sectors: an Educational Credential Registry lets institutions register degree certificates that employers can verify by Registry ID, student name, or institution name, using AI-powered autofill that reads certificate images and detects mismatches; a Legal Document Registry records contracts, NDAs, deeds, and affidavits with blockchain timestamps; and a Media Verification Registry records photos, videos, and reports with capture date, location, and provenance data for chain-of-custody verification.[1]
The Identity Badge System allows users to apply for verified badges as creators, journalists, institutions, legal or medical professionals, government entities, or businesses; badges are reviewed and approved by UHRATE administrators and recorded permanently, with applicants required to post a UHR deposit as a commitment stake.[1] After verification, users may mint an NFT authenticity certificate to their wallet via MetaMask on BNB Smart Chain mainnet, paying their own gas fees, with the certificate containing the full verification metadata.[1] For organizations, an Enterprise Bulk Verification portal and a documented REST API allow up to 20 files to be verified simultaneously, with API keys issued per account and rate limits configured by subscription tier.[1]
The homepage summarizes the consumer experience as a five-step flow: upload a file of any type up to 50 MB, generate a SHA-256 DNA fingerprint, run AI analysis for deepfake, manipulation, and AI-generation scores, deploy the hash to a chosen blockchain, and issue a downloadable, shareable certificate.[2] The website's interface displays counters showing "Files Identified 4," "Blockchains 6," "AI Models ∞," and "Years of Proof ∞."[2]
Technology and Architecture
UHRATE's stated technology stack is built on Next.js 14 with TypeScript and Tailwind CSS for its frontend, a Supabase (PostgreSQL) database, IPFS storage provided through Pinata, and hosting on Vercel's edge network.[1] Smart contracts are written in Solidity, using the BEP20 standard for the UHR token and ERC721 for NFT certificates, and wallet integration is handled through MetaMask and Web3 using ethers.js v6.[1]
The verification pipeline relies on SHA-256, SHA-512, and perceptual hashing for fingerprinting, and on Anthropic's Claude API with vision capabilities for deepfake detection, content analysis, and optical character recognition.[1] The company states that a typical end-to-end verification completes in under thirty seconds.[1]
The whitepaper states that the platform supports verification across eight blockchain networks — BNB Smart Chain, Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, Avalanche, and BNB Testnet — with BNB Smart Chain as the primary chain.[1] The public website lists a narrower set of four chains for identity issuance: Ethereum, BNB, Base, and Polygon.[2]
On security and privacy, the company states that uploaded files are processed in memory and never permanently stored on UHRATE servers, with only cryptographic fingerprints and analysis metadata retained.[1]
It states that passwords are hashed with bcrypt, that database tables use row-level security, that API and private keys are isolated in environment variables, and that all communication is HTTPS-only.[1] Blockchain features are described as user-paid and self-custodial, with UHRATE stating that it never holds users' private keys or funds and that on-chain transactions are signed by users through MetaMask.[1]
UHR Token
The UHR token is described by the project as the utility and governance backbone of the UHRATE ecosystem.[4] It is deployed on BNB Smart Chain as a BEP20 token with 18 decimals at the contract address 0xFD8723F83F5A441EdB231F2ef1f89113B481E447, and has a fixed total supply of 1,000,000,000 UHR with no minting.[1]
The token's stated utility spans several functions. It can be used to pay for the platform's Pro ($10) and Enterprise ($50) subscription plans, with a 20% discount versus the USDT price when paid in UHR.[1] The core platform action — deploying a document to the blockchain — costs $0.20 payable in ETH, BNB, or MATIC, or $0.10 worth of UHR, meaning UHR holders receive a 50% discount on deployment fees; each deployment includes a full NFT certificate, an on-chain hash record, IPFS metadata storage, and multi-chain support.[4] The website illustrates this with the comparison "Pay $0.10 in UHR vs $0.20 in ETH for every identity deployment."[2] Holding or staking UHR also unlocks higher API rate limits and additional platform features, and provides fee discounts proportional to holdings.[1]

The one billion UHR supply is allocated across seven categories, each with its own vesting schedule as reported in the whitepaper:[1]

The presale is offered at $0.01 per UHR, limited to 80,000,000 UHR, which the project describes as 50% below its stated listing (swap) price of $0.02.[4][2] The Uhrate DAO account has instructed prospective buyers to visit uhrate.online/presale, connect MetaMask on BNB Smart Chain, enter the amount of USDT (BEP20) they wish to swap, and confirm the transaction.[3]
Staking and Rewards
The staking system accepts three assets — BNB, USDT (BEP20), and UHR — across three pools that all pay rewards in UHR: a Flexible pool with no lock period at 10% APY, a Standard pool with a 30-day lock at 15% APY, and a Premium pool with a 90-day lock at 20% APY.[4] Rewards are calculated daily and claimable at any time, and are funded from the 200,000,000 UHR Platform Rewards & Staking allocation that unlocks monthly over three years.[1]
Beyond yield, staking determines a user's benefit tier: staking 1,000 UHR reaches the Bronze tier with a 10% service discount; 10,000 UHR reaches Silver with a 25% discount and priority support; 50,000 UHR reaches Gold with a 50% discount and Pro API access; and 200,000 UHR reaches Platinum with a 75% discount, enterprise features, and 3x governance voting weight.[1] The whitepaper gives a worked example in which 50,000 UHR staked in the Premium pool for one year would accrue roughly 10,000 UHR while simultaneously qualifying the holder for the Gold tier.[1]
Governance and Treasury
UHR functions as a governance token allowing holders to vote on platform proposals, treasury spending, new features, and which blockchains the platform supports.[4] The DAO process requires a minimum of 10,000 UHR to submit a proposal, followed by a seven-day discussion period and a five-day voting window.[1]
Voting weight is set at one vote per UHR, with long-term stakers able to earn up to 3x weight; a vote is valid only if at least 5% of circulating supply participates, and a simple majority above 50% is required to pass.[1] Passing proposals are implemented by the UHRATE team or executed automatically via smart contract where applicable.[1]
The community treasury holds 100,000,000 UHR, equal to 10% of total supply, locked for two years from token launch; after the lock expires, spending requires a DAO vote and may be directed toward platform grants, security audits, marketing, partnerships, and liquidity provision.[1]
Deflationary Mechanisms
The project describes three mechanisms intended to reduce UHR supply over time. Under the Fee Burn, 10% of all UHR collected as platform fees is permanently burned.[4]
Under the quarterly Buyback & Burn, 20% of platform revenue in USDT or BNB is used each quarter to buy UHR from the market and burn it.[4] Under the Slash Burn, UHR staked as identity-badge deposits by fraudulent or malicious applicants is burned rather than redistributed.[4] The company also notes that UHR locked in staking pools reduces circulating supply.[1]

The whitepaper lays out a five-phase roadmap. Phase 1, Platform & Token Launch (2025), is labeled active and covers the platform going live at uhrate.xyz with 58 routes, deployment of the UHR token on BNB Smart Chain, publication of the tokenomics and whitepaper, initiation of Google Search Console indexing, and the launch of the AI verification, document registry, education, legal, and media portals.[1]
Phase 2, Private Sale & Community Building (Q1 2026), is also labeled active and covers a private sale to strategic investors, Telegram and X community campaigns, partnership announcements, and opening the identity-badge system to public applications.[1]
Three later phases were listed as upcoming. The tokenomics page presents a condensed version of the same sequence, from Token Launch and Presale (both active) through Public Sale, DEX listing on PancakeSwap with treasury-provided liquidity, Staking Launch, and DAO Launch.[4]
The Uhrate DAO account was created in April 2026 and describes UHRATE as "a layer 1 proof of Identity," publishing statements that frame the project's mission around making "real-world identity, credentials, and authenticity" provable rather than promised.[3]
