Bruno Faviero
Bruno Brasil Ferrari Faviero is an American entrepreneur and software engineer, best known as the co-founder and CEO of Magna. He co-founded Magna, a token management platform, which was acquired by Payward (parent company of Kraken) in February 2026. Faviero has a notable background in AI, having co-founded Synapse Technology Corporation and served as a product manager at Palantir Technologies. He is also involved in venture investing through the Alloy Fund.
Education
Bruno Faviero attended Boca Raton Community High School from 2007 to 2011. He pursued higher education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where he completed a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering between 2011 and 2015. While at MIT, Faviero served as the Founding Managing Partner of Dorm Room Fund Boston from 2013 to 2015. In this role, he managed a $500,000 fund that was deployed across 25 student-run startups at institutions like MIT, Harvard, Northeastern, Boston University, Boston College, and Tufts. Following his undergraduate studies, Faviero joined the Alumni Council of Dorm Room Fund, where he participated from 2015 to 2018.
Early Career
Faviero began his professional career as a software engineer and product manager at Kensho Technologies. As one of the company's earliest employees, he worked in client-facing roles on trading floors in New York and London. [1]
Synapse Technology Corporation (2016–2020)
In 2016, Bruno Faviero co-founded Synapse Technology Corporation, an AI company specializing in computer vision applications for security inspection. The company's flagship product, Syntech ONE, was designed to enhance threat detection capabilities at transportation checkpoints using AI-powered screening technology. Synapse Technology was acquired by Palantir Technologies in 2020. Following the acquisition, Faviero joined Palantir as a product manager, where he was responsible for leading their geospatial product and AI platform. [1]

Faviero contributed to the founding of Maple, a platform designed to assist founders in discovering and applying discounts on SaaS tools available through their networks. The venture received backing from investors like Soma Capital, Behind Genius Ventures, and partners at prominent firms including a16z, Comma Capital, and Shaan Puri. In early 2022, Bruno Faviero, alongside Arun Kirubarajan as CTO, co-founded Magna, headquartered in New York. The platform aimed to simplify token management for various crypto projects, DAOs, and protocols by automating token cap tables, vesting, airdrops, tax withholding, and distribution processes. Magna was accepted into Y Combinator (W22 batch). In September 2022, Magna raised 70 million valuation, led by Tiger Global and Tusk Venture Partners. Additional investors included Shima Capital, Circle Ventures, Solana Ventures, Polygon Ventures, Avalanche Labs, Alchemy Ventures, and Galaxy Digital, alongside individual investors including Balaji Srinivasan, Ryan Selkis of Messari, and DJ Steve Aoki. Magna served over 160 clients and achieved a peak Total Value Locked (TVL) of $60 billion by 2025, making it the largest token vesting platform by TVL. Alloy Fund and Kolena
As a co-founder and General Partner of Alloy Fund, a $5 million early-stage operator fund, Faviero focuses on investments in biotech, AI, crypto, and enterprise SaaS sectors. Moreover, he co-founded Kolena, a machine learning testing and evaluation company which received backing from SignalFire and Bloomberg Beta, where he also served as a Founding Advisor.
