Chris Rayner-Cook

Chris Rayner-Cook is a UK-based finance executive with more than 20 years of experience across traditional finance and crypto. He currently serves as Chief Investment Officer of Brevan Howard Digital, leading Brevan Howard's digital asset investment team. Chris Rayner-Cook completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacology from the University of Bristol in June 2000. [2]​

Career

CareerRayner-Cook began his career at Merrill Lynch in 2000. [2] Over the years, he managed capital at hedge funds including Brevan Howard, Citadel, and Millennium. [2]​

He co-founded a tokenization business called IVNO, which was sold to R3 in 2021. [1]​

He served as Global Head of Trading and Financing at Coinbase for approximately two years, ending around the first quarter of 2024, where he oversaw trading and financial operations within the company. [1]​

He currently serves as Chief Investment Officer of Brevan Howard Digital, leading the firm's digital asset investment team. [2]​
