Career

Wu began his career as a Software Development Engineer Intern at Microsoft in 2014, where he worked with the Bing Relevance team on machine learning systems for search. In 2015, he joined Google as a Software Engineer in Cambridge, Massachusetts, contributing to software development and machine learning projects until 2017. He then became a founding team member at PlusAI, serving as Head of Prediction from 2017 to 2023, where he led the development of prediction systems for autonomous driving technology. From 2023 to 2024, Wu was a Tech Lead for Perception Systems at Cruise, overseeing engineering efforts related to autonomous vehicle perception. ^[4]

Block Street

​Block Street is a blockchain infrastructure project focused on enabling trading, lending, and financial applications for tokenized stocks and real-world assets. Founded in 2024 by Hedy Wong and Wu, the platform aims to address fragmentation in tokenized equity markets through two core components: Aqua, a liquidity aggregation and execution layer that connects users with multiple tokenized asset issuers and market makers through an RFQ-based system, and Everst, a decentralized lending protocol designed for tokenized equities that allows users to supply assets, earn yield, and borrow against their holdings through overcollateralized pools. Built initially on the Monad blockchain, Block Street focuses on combining on-chain settlement with traditional financial market functions such as liquidity routing, collateral management, and risk controls. The project announced an $11.5 million funding round in October 2025 to support development, infrastructure expansion, and integrations with tokenization providers and DeFi platforms. ^[1]
