Peter Mikhailenok studied economics at University of Exeter from 1996 to 1998, where he pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. He later attended San Diego State University, earning a bachelor’s degree in Business Finance between 2002 and 2006, with coursework focused on finance and business management. [1]
Peter Mikhailenok has held roles across finance, technology, and product development. He began his career at Smith Barney as a marketing associate from 2004 to 2006 before joining UBS as a registered investment associate, where he worked in wealth management for high-net-worth individuals and corporate clients until 2010. He later served as managing partner at Automotive Connoisseur Group from 2010 to 2012. In 2012, he became director of product development at AYT, Inc., overseeing the development of electronic medical devices. Between 2016 and 2019, he was director of product development and partner at IceoLabs. In 2017, he co-founded AlphaCapital, LLC and served as director of technology until 2023, while also acting as chief technology officer and partner at BitcoinAlley, Inc. from 2017 to 2021. He later served as interim chief technology officer of Hermesus Cryptocurrency Exchange between 2021 and 2023. In 2023, he became managing partner of NuviCor, and in 2024 he was appointed senior advisor for blockchain at Dundon Advisers LLC. In 2025, he founded Goldfish (GGBR), where he serves as Principal.
