Keith Perry is a software engineer and technology leader with experience spanning enterprise software, bioinformatics, scientific computing, and internet infrastructure. Career

Perry began his career at McKesson Corporation in 1999 as a Network/Desktop Systems Specialist, providing technical support and managing desktop and network systems. While pursuing his studies, he also worked part-time in technical support at Pearson Educational Measurement from 2004 to 2006. In 2006, he served as a Validation Engineering Intern at Innovative Software Engineering before joining the University of Iowa as a Graduate Research Assistant. There, he conducted research on human-computer interaction and accessibility, leading a study on computer mouse usage by young children, developing assistive software tools, contributing to academic publications, and presenting research findings at conferences.

In 2008, Perry joined Transamerica as an Intermediate Programmer Analyst, where he developed enterprise software applications and data-processing systems using C# and Microsoft SQL Server. His work included designing applications for financial data processing, integrating third-party systems, and leading development efforts on large-scale business applications. In 2010, he moved to Integrated DNA Technologies as a Software Systems Engineer II and Team Lead within the Bioinformatics and Scientific Computing team. He led software engineering projects related to biosecurity, next-generation sequencing, and assay design, while helping introduce development practices such as continuous delivery, agile methodologies, automated testing, distributed version control systems, and cloud-based computing. His responsibilities also included designing distributed services, evaluating cloud infrastructure, developing scientific software, and improving the performance of legacy computational systems.

Perry joined GoDaddy in 2015 as a Senior Software Development Engineer and subsequently held a series of engineering and management positions, including Software Development Manager, Senior Software Development Engineer IV, Software Development Engineer V, and Principal Software Development Engineer VI. His work has focused on large-scale internet infrastructure, software architecture, and platform engineering. Through progressively senior technical leadership roles, he has contributed to the design, development, and operation of systems supporting domain services and internet infrastructure, while providing architectural guidance and technical leadership across engineering teams.
