Early Life and Education

Junjia He obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University, where he studied from 2014 to 2015 and graduated with a 3.96 GPA.

He previously completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, attending from 2010 to 2014 and graduating with a 3.8 GPA. As part of the undergraduate program, he earned Grade A (90+) in 20 core courses, including Data Structures, Computer Architecture, Project Workshop of Operating System, Artificial Intelligence, and Probability & Statistics. Career

Junjia He began his professional career in 2015 as a software engineering intern at Google, where he worked on backend infrastructure for YouTube Kids. In 2016, he joined Uber as a software engineer, working on software development projects within the company's engineering organization, which served as a basis for later work with .

QuarkChain

He joined in 2018 as an engineer. During his tenure, he worked on scaling methods based on sharding and participated in the development of blockchain infrastructure. He also led engineering work on (DeFi) applications, including , (DEXs), and lending protocols.

Advisory and entrepreneurship

From 2022 to 2024, He served as an advisor to multiple projects, providing guidance on -related strategies and adoption. Between September 2023 and April 2024, he was an Entrepreneur in Residence at ABCDE before co-founding Pieverse.

Pieverse

Since April 2024, He has served as co-founder of , where he oversees technical development. The platform combines technology with time-based economic mechanisms through features including Time Bidding, Time Lottery, and Time Tasks.

At Pieverse, he worked on the integration of pieUSD, a -wrapped token that implements the ERC-3009 standard for transactions on . The implementation also addressed compatibility with the protocol and included support for the transition to x402b.

His work at the company has also included the development of payment-related tools, such as Timestamping, which supports automated invoicing, stablecoin payments, and compliance receipt generation.
