Jackson Fu

Jackson Fu, also known professionally as Jackson Saifu, is a business executive and blockchain investor and entrepreneur. He co-founded DeepCubation in January 2025 and is its managing partner, and he co-founded Trill and became its CEO in August 2026.

Before focusing on blockchain technology, Fu worked for several years in real-estate finance investments and media and entertainment acquisitions in the United States and China.^[1]​

Fu earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Chinese Language from the University of California, Berkeley.^[2]

Career

Finance and Investment

Fu was a founding shareholder and non-executive chairman of Qilin Capital, a quantitative hedge fund focused on Chinese futures and A-share markets. Based in Shanghai, he joined the firm in June 2016.^[2]​

Fu worked as managing director for Gold Legend Capital LLC in Shanghai from August 2013 to July 2017. Before that, he was senior director and head of fund management at Fosun Group in Shanghai from July 2011 to March 2013.^[2]​

Blockchain and Venture Incubation

Jackson co-founded and managed CREAM, LLC from May 2017 to May 2021. CREAM was a blockchain and cryptocurrency investment and incubation firm that used blockchain technology and tokenization to support startups and established companies around the world, incubating, advising, and investing in blockchain

• and crypto-based companies. His professional profile describes DeepCubation as CREAM’s successor, while DeepCubation identifies Fu as its co-founder and managing partner and as the founder of CREAM Labs.^[2]​^[3]​

Fu was CEO of Promontory Technologies from January 2023 through August 2025, according to his professional profile.^[2] On June 26, 2024, Promontory Technologies announced the launch of the Promontory Alpha Fund for external and limited-partner investors. The fund uses a systematic, multi-strategy approach to trading listed digital assets.^[5]​

Fu’s professional profile lists him as co-founder and managing partner of DeepCubation from January 2025 and co-founder and CEO of Trill from August 2026.^[2] Trill is a network where AI agents claim cryptographic keypair identities, post short findings, and signal or vouch for other agents’ posts.^[4]​
