Trueo

Trueo is a fully onchain, yield-bearing prediction market protocol that lets users trade on the outcomes of real-world events through binary yes/no markets. The project was established in 2024 and launched on the network in March 2025, built by the team behind an earlier protocol called Truemarkets and rebranded after a trademark dispute.[1][2] Its distinguishing feature is that positions are collateralized in a yield-bearing dollar token, so capital continues earning while a market remains open. The protocol commits every market's title, resolution criteria, and approved data sources immutably onchain at launch, and settles all liquidity provisioning and order matching directly onchain, which the team presents as giving it "industry-leading decentralization and censorship-resistance."[3]

개요

Trueo operates a marketplace of binary prediction markets in which participants buy YES or NO outcome tokens on questions about future events. Each market resolves to one side, at which point the winning token can be redeemed for one True Yield Dollar and the losing token becomes worthless.[2] Questions span categories such as cryptocurrency, politics, and technology, with recent examples including whether would trade above a set price on a given date, whether OpenAI would hold an initial public offering in 2026, whether the would be signed into law before 2027, and probability estimates on events such as artificial general intelligence arriving before 2028 or specific protocols being exploited.[5]

The protocol is permissionless: anyone can create a market without approval, fund it, and earn creator fees once it goes live.[6] The design emphasizes decentralization and censorship resistance, with the stated aim of building a public prediction market where outcomes cannot be manipulated after the fact.[1] Because market text, data sources, and resolution rules are locked into the market's creation transaction, they can be independently inspected on Basescan rather than trusted from the application interface.[2]

기술 및 아키텍처

Trueo's mechanics revolve around a single flow: users deposit , mint the protocol's token, and use that token to buy outcome shares or to provide liquidity. Trades settle onchain through automated market maker pools, and the protocol never takes custody of users' outcome tokens, so traders retain control of their positions throughout.[2]

True Yield Dollar

The asset across all markets is TYD, the True Yield Dollar. TYD is an vault token minted by depositing and backed one-to-one by through a Yearn vault, allowing it to earn yield while held.[2] The Yearn vault runs what the source describes as "low risk strategies" and attempts to match or beat the USDC lending rate on .[2] This structure means an open position continues generating return on its underlying collateral, in contrast to capital that sits idle on other prediction platforms.[6] The yield-bearing collateral is the protocol's most distinctive characteristic, though it also introduces additional risk from the Yearn vault and from the USDC peg on top of ordinary market risk.[2]

Markets and the Launchpad

New markets are created through a permissionless launchpad. Anyone can propose a market and fund it with TYD; once both the YES and NO sides reach a funding threshold, the market "graduates" into live trading pools.[2] The AirdropAlert account adds that creators can refine a proposal with the platform's AI tools, rally community support, and collect creator fees once the market is live.[6]

Trading uses v4 pools built with a custom hook that trades YES and NO tokens against TYD; the protocol also supports Uniswap V3.[2][1] Anyone can mint a complete set of outcome tokens by depositing TYD into a live market, receiving equal amounts of YES and NO tokens; conversely, burning one YES plus one NO returns one TYD at any point before resolution. To provide liquidity, a user mints a complete set and places the tokens into the YES-TYD and NO-TYD pools.[2]

The Uniswap v4 hook sets a using a feeNumerator expressed out of 10,000. The default in the source code is 0, and a code comment notes that a feeNumerator of 36 equals 0.36 percent; administrators can change this rate. Launchpad deployment and funding-phase withdrawal fees are set as live contract values rather than fixed published rates, and users additionally pay network .[2]

Optimistic Oracle and Dispute Resolution

Markets are resolved through an optimistic framework paired with a multi-level dispute process intended to ensure accuracy while remaining permissionless.[3][1] After an event ends, anyone can propose a resolution by posting a bond, opening a 12-hour dispute window during which others can challenge the proposed outcome.[2] Default bond amounts are 250 TYD to propose a resolution, 250 TYD to dispute, and 750 TYD to escalate, although older markets may still require a 2,500 TYD escalation bond. Bonds can be slashed for bad-faith calls, aligning incentives against dishonest resolutions.[2]

When a dispute proceeds, it moves through three escalating layers: an Oracle Council reviews the case first, then TRUE token holders vote, and finally a group of attesters chosen through "proof of reputation" adjudicates the hardest disputes. Attesters are described as known figures in , such as governance delegates and long-time contributors, pulled into a rotating jury.[2] Under genesis rules, escalating a dispute to the attesters requires holding 250,000 liquid or 250,000 staked TRUE rather than posting an additional bond.[2] The AirdropAlert account frames the same model in terms of : TRUE stakers secure the oracle, vote on disputed outcomes, and post bonds that they can lose for resolving markets dishonestly, contrasting this with 's reliance on the UMA and 's internal, regulated decision-making.[6] Trueo considers the next generation of this evidence-driven oracle its biggest edge in dispute resolution.[4]

TRUE Token

TRUE is Trueo's . Its supply is capped at 100,000,000, and as of September 2026 roughly 93,000,000 were reported to be already circulating, with AirdropAlert stating that "nearly the full supply circulates already."[2][6] On , the token contract is 0x21cfcfc3d8f98fc728f48341d10ad8283f6eb7ab.[6] The supply allocation includes Patron , incentives, and a team allocation, with the team holding 25 percent of the total supply subject to two-year vesting.[2]

The token's utility centers on securing and governing the protocol. Holders stake TRUE, or TRUE-ETH liquidity provider tokens, to back market resolutions, earn fees, and participate in governance, and TRUE holdings also confer voting rights within the dispute-resolution process.[6][2] The token trades on on .[6] No has been confirmed, though the team has said that future and liquidity rewards will run on after the migration, positioning early stakers and for incentives.[6]

Migration to Ethereum

The migration was structured to run in an orderly fashion. Existing markets continue operating through the transition, but users were asked not to open new markets expiring after January 31, 2027. TRUE holders were given an open-ended window to migrate their tokens with no cutoff, and future rewards are to live on .[4][6]

The announcement coincided with sharp price movement in TRUE. Yahoo Finance reported that the token "rallied sharply" following 's endorsement of the move.[4] AirdropAlert similarly reported a significant price increase in the token, attributing it in part to the migration plans and to Buterin's public praise of Trueo's focus on decentralization and ethical design; that account also noted that the trader "Machi Big Brother" accumulated TRUE during this period.[6]
