Web3Conf India is a chain-agnostic conference centered around Web3 technology. Its first edition was held in 2022, and the conference is an initiative organized by the GirlScript Foundation. It was traditionally hosted in Goa, but its fourth edition took place in New Delhi in 2025. The first three editions brought together 5,000+ attendees, 200+ speakers, and 100+ partners, according to the official event site. The event offers an array of activities, including the "Hack - Web3conf" hackathon, startup pitch sessions, insightful talks and panel discussions, and a showcase of company booths.[1][6]
The GirlScript Foundation
The GirlScript Foundation is a tech company in India that has been dedicated to supporting tech education for beginners since 2017. With programs like GirlScript Summer of Code, LetsPy, Tech In Slums, Uplift Project, and more, the foundation has impacted over 500,000 learners. Recognized and featured by renowned entities like Forbes Asia, Tedx, Booking.com Technology Playmaker, and Women Tech Network Awards, GirlScript has collaborated with numerous global tech and social good companies, including Microsoft, Redhat, Twitter, and Polygon.[2][3]
Past Editions
2022 Edition
The inaugural edition took place August 12–14, 2022, in Goa. AIC-GIM Foundation and GirlScript Foundation organized it collaboratively. It drew more than 500 attendees and 70 speakers, with over 100 hackathon teams. The program included talks, interviews, pitches, panels, seminars, training, showcases, keynotes, Q&A, and a career fair. More than 12 blockchain ecosystems were discussed at the event.[8]
2023 Edition
The 2023 edition was held August 11–14, 2023, in Goa at Novotel Dona Sylvia Resort. It included a hackathon, startup pitch session, talks, panel discussions, and company booths. The conference program featured keynotes and knowledge sessions, sponsor booths, a startup pitch contest, networking, and panels. Speakers included Raj Kapoor, Francesco Ciulla, and Ajeet Khurana.[9][11]
The associated online Hack Web3Conf India ’23 ran July 1–26, 2023. Its tracks covered DeFi, Community, Blockchain & Cryptocurrencies, All Things Dev, and NFT, Art & Gaming. The hackathon advertised a USD 1 million prize pool.[12][11] A Web3Conf India community partner reported more than 3,113 applications and over 150 teams submitting projects.[11]
2024 Edition
The third edition took place December 8–11, 2024, in Goa, at Novotel Goa Dona Sylvia Resort in Cavelossim, South Goa. The four-day conference was held from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Listed speakers included Nader Dabit, Devika Mittal, and Vikram Sharma.[10][13]
2025 Edition
The fourth edition of Web3Conf India was held on September 26, 2025, at Welcomhotel by ITC Hotels in Dwarka, New Delhi. Organized by GirlScript Foundation and co-hosted with India Blockchain Month, it featured technical sessions, a hackathon, and networking.[6][7]
