Career
Yoann Turpin is the co-founder of Wintermute, a digital asset trading firm, where he has held multiple leadership positions since 2018. He initially served as Head of Trading (2018–2020), later as Head of Business Development (2020–2022), and since 2022 has overseen business development and venture activities.
Alongside Wintermute, Turpin has held advisory roles at several companies, including Cybertonica Ltd and Orbitil (since 2016), KiteEdge Ltd (since 2017), and Agerean Ltd (since 2020). He has also been involved with early-stage ventures such as Linkybrain and served as a business angel investor in Sparrho.
Before Wintermute, Turpin founded Kaifuku Capital (2014–2021), an investment firm focused on pre-IPO and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, and co-founded Innovify, a technology venture builder, where he was CFO, CIO, and later advisor (2014–2021). Earlier in his career, he worked in asset management and trading, including at Industria et Humilitas (2011–2018), Salamander Trading LLP (2011–2014), Optiver as an options trader (2006–2010), and Société Générale Corporate and Investment Banking as an FX sales trader (2004–2005).
